Privacy statement

The Australian Ethical Health Alliance (AEHA) is committed to maintaining the privacy of its member organisations and community, including those who interact with AEHA, and has developed its privacy statement in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as established under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).

1. Collection of Personal Information

1.1. AEHA collects and holds personal information about you for the purposes of providing services and information to you, organising workshops/forums and maintaining an online member directory.

1.2. AEHA collects personal information from you and/or your designated nominee in a number of ways including when you directly correspond with us, complete registration and application forms for us and when you make use of the AEHA website.

1.3. If you choose not to provide your personal information to AEHA then it may not be possible for AEHA to provide you with services.

2. Disclosure of Personal Information

2.1. AEHA has a policy of not disclosing personal information contained on its database to any outside body. However, where required to do so by law, AEHA will disclose personal information about you.

2.2. AEHA may disclose your organisation’s name, including any representatives name provided, on the AEHA website member organisations webpage and in the Australian Consensus Framework for Ethical Collaboration in the Healthcare Sector. AEHA may provide this information to external recipients as published through these means.
